Project: Software module to calculate the volume, weight and cost of scrap produced, for Cadem's CAPSturn Cycle time reduction and Programming software.

The feature was developed by MS Raimah School of Advanced Studies (MSRSAS). Cadem provided detailed specifications of the functionality of the software, test procedures and test data. An inter-disciplinary team of MSRSAS faculty members from Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering worked on the project. Based on prior research done in other universities in the world, they devised mathematical logic and converted it into software modules required by CAPSturn. They also tested the final software module using Cadem's test data and procedures. The module was plugged into CAPSturn and became a very popular feature of the software.
