The Government of Karnataka has announced the Tumakuru Machine Tool Park (TMTP) project and invited applications from machine tool industry to set up units at the Park. The announcement is attached. Karnataka Udyoga Mitra (KUM) is the nodal agency. Contacts for further information are given in the announcement.
Machine tool units are requested to assess their requirement of industrial plots for expansion, new units etc. and apply to TMTP as detailed in the announcement before the last date of 6th October.

The Foundation-stone Laying Ceremony of Tumakuru Machine Tool Park (TMTP) was held on February 10, 2018 at Phase - III of Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area, Tumakuru.
Mr. Anant Geete, Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises, Government of India, Mr. R. V. Deshpande, Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Mr. T. B. Jayachandra, Hon’ble Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, Minor Irrigation and District In-charge Minister of Tumakuru, Government of Karnataka, Mr. N. Sivanand, Jt. Secretary, Dept. of Heavy Industry, Mr. P. Ramadas, President-IMTMA and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Tumakuru Machine Tool Park is implemented jointly by the Government of Karnataka and DHI, Government of India.
The project will be a cluster of machine tool builders, makers of accessories, components and sub-systems, among others, and will help small and medium scale enterprises to expand their manufacturing capacities.
