IMTMA disseminates information about the machine tool industry, provides in-depth analysis, trends and latest developments of the user sectors through focused studies. IMTMA strives to strengthen the relations between industry and user sectors by providing the information to members on user sector requirements and enabling the members to serve them better.

IMTMA independently collects data on production, order booking and exports from the members and publishes consolidated reports on a quarterly basis and makes them available to the members. The data is also shared with the government as required, to support policy advocacy and with other industry bodies, nationally and internationally.
