IMTEX, Tooltech & Digital Manufacturing 2025: Enabling Partnerships, Sharing Knowledge and Leading Technological Changes

1,100 exhibitors from 23 countries take centre stage at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru.

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) formally inaugurated its flagship IMTEX, Tooltech & Digital Manufacturing 2025, on 23 January 2025 at BIEC, Bengaluru. The exhibition showcases the latest trends and technological advancements from the Indian and global machine tool industries.

Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Government of India; Dr. M.B. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka; Mr. Laxmesh B.H., Vice President & Head, Aerospace & Systems Business, Larsen & Toubro Limited; and Mr. Prashanth Doreswamy, President & CEO, Continental Automotive (India) Pvt. Ltd. lighted the inaugural lamp.

 

Mr. Jamshyd N. Godrej, Chairman - Exhibitions, IMTMA; Mr. Rajendra S. Rajamane, President, IMTMA; Ms. Mohini Kelkar, Vice President, IMTMA; and Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA also shared the dais at the inauguration.

IMTEX 2025, taking place from 23 to 29 January 2025, is convening machine tool user industry leaders, policymakers and innovators from around the world to find actionable solutions for the future. The exhibition highlights cutting-edge technologies, ambitious expansion initiatives, and investment opportunities that align with global business goals.

Machine tool builders are presenting new products such as smart and intelligent machines, high-precision, high-performance, multi-tasking, hybrid machines and special purpose machines, robots, cobots, AGVs, tools, accessories, manufacturing software, 3D Printers, 3D printing solutions, evolving Industry 4.0 hardware, software, customized solutions, and many more.

Apart from a display of products and solutions, various programmes have been lined up at IMTEX 2025. The International Seminar on Machining Technologies on 24 and 25 January 2025 will have global experts sharing insights into emerging trends and best practices in metal cutting. The i2 Academia Pavilion provides an opportunity for Indian academic and R&D institutions to showcase their research capabilities and make it available for commercial use.

The Auto Components Industry Transformation Summit (on 26 January 2025), organized by IMTMA and the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), is expected to further strengthen the ties between the machine tool and auto component industries.
