Business sentiments are getting a fillip as IMTMA prepares to organize its flagship IMTEX 2023 along with Tooltech and Digital Manufacturing as concurrent shows. The exhibition will be brimming with activities as over 90,000 business visitors are expected to visit the show which runs from January 19 - 25, 2023.

National Productivity Summit 2022

18 - 19 November 2022: BIEC, Bengaluru

Over 275 delegates from 95 companies across a diverse cross section of industries participated in the National Productivity Summit 2022 held at BIEC on 18 and 19 November 2022. Winners of the IMTMA-ACE Micromatic Productivity Championship Awards 2022 were announced:

· Bharat Electronics Limited, Bengaluru won the first prize for Manufacturing of 30,000 ICU Ventilators in 90 days.

· Tata Motors, Pune won second prize for Progressive increase of EV capacity through Productivity Improvement and Innovation.

· Hero Motocorp, Alwar won the third prize for MTTPM reduction through Digitalization of PM activities in ASRS system by implementing IOT based CBM monitoring system.

· Mekhos Technologies, Bengaluru won the SME Productivity Championship Award 2022.

· Mahindra & Mahindra, Kandivali was conferred the Jury Commendation Award (Special Award), Large & Medium Category, for The Key to Boosting Efficiency - ‘Single piece flow’, a lean manufacturing method to improve efficiency by increasing productivity, reducing waste, and enhancing quality”.

· Associated Plasmatron, Thane was conferred the Jury Commendation Award (Special Award) for to enhance productivity and reduce material consumption during HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) coating of small parts with the help of multi-spindle rotator system. More Information

International Seminar on Manufacturing Technologies

18 January 2023, BIEC, Bengaluru

Coinciding with IMTEX 2023, IMTMA is organising an ‘International Seminar on Manufacturing Technologies’ on 18 January 2023, a day preceding the IMTEX 2023 exhibition. The objective of this International Seminar is to present latest technological developments in Manufacturing and allied technologies which users can adopt in their production process. The seminar will have concurrent sessions on Machining, Work Holding & Tooling, Additive Manufacturing, Enabling Technologies, Emerging Trends and Automation.

Activities of Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC)

A series of renowned exhibitions and events are in the pipeline to be held in BIEC in coming quarters:

· In January 2023 we have our flagship IMTEX 2023 along with Tooltech and Digital Manufacturing.

· BIEC will be the host for India Energy Week’s (IEW) inaugural edition in February 2023.

· IEW 2023 will be organized by DMG Events under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and with support from FIPI and Indian Oil. More than 50 countries are expected to participate in the show. The inaugural edition will convene leaders from the energy value chain, finance, government, think tanks and academia to address the challenges and opportunities presented by a responsible energy transition that balances security, affordability, and access and sustainability. It will provide a unique opportunity for key decision-makers to expedite synergies between stakeholders and identify new growth opportunities
