Uncapping Market Opportunities for Regional Players
Manufacturing industry has a history of benefitting through industrial collaborations. The development which arises from such engagements paint a rosy picture for the market and economy. Accuracy and precision play are important factors in defining the quality of finished products.
To enable India’s regional industry players keep pace with the technological developments and changing times Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association is organizing two regional expos this year. The third edition of Delhi Machine Tool Expo (DMTX 2019) in Greater Noida from 8th to 11th August 2019 is expected to bring visitors from smaller manufacturing hubs in the northern region. The expo will give further impetus to our idea that regional machine tool shows are the way forward to address the requirements of original equipment manufacturers as well as component manufacturers in Tier II and Tier III cities. With the same aim and enthusiasm the Association will organize the first ever Chennai Machine Tool Expo (CMTX 2019) in Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai from 26th to 29th September 2019. I am sure that these regional expos will mark another episode of stellar success in our endeavours to bring technologies to the doorsteps of regional industrial units spread far and wide in the country.
A meeting of IMTMA Regional Council (South) was held at BIEC, Bangalore on 15th March 2019. Coinciding with the meeting, a special session on "Total Cost Management (TCM)" and "Creativity & Six-Thinking-Hats" was organised.
Tumakuru Machine Tool Park: Envisioning the Future
Government of Karnataka is developing an integrated machine tool park at Vasanthanarasapura, Tumakuru district with assistance from Department of Heavy Industry, Government of India. The civil construction is in full swing.
The 27th edition of TIMTOS, "TIMTOS 2019" was jointly organized by TAITRA and TAMI from 4th to 9th March 2019 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The theme of the exhibition was "Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing".
IMTMA wins 2 awards at Exhibition Excellence Awards 2019
Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) won four awards at the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2019 organized by Exhibition Showcase at India Exposition Centre, Greater NOIDA on 23rd March 2019. IMTMA won the following prizes :
First Prize : IMTEX FORMING 2018 for Leading Show on Tools and Machinery.
First Prize : Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) for India’s leading exhibition venue.
