Pune Machine Tool Expo 2016 Concludes on 'Positive Note'

The four-day Pune Machine Tool Expo, 2016 - Western India's B2B exhibition organized by IMTMA at Auto Cluster in Pune from 29 September to 2 October 2016 concluded on a high note. With more than 100 exhibitors, the machine tool exhibition attracted 7,400 visitors and 62 trade delegations from various industries such as auto component, automobiles, capital goods, defence, aerospace and railways. The event attracted impressive number of delegates and visitors from the Tier II and Tier III cities such as Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Satara, Ahmednagar, besides the neighbouring state of Gujarat.

i2 Academia Pavilion is an opportunity for Indian academic/R&D institutions to showcase their capabilities and R&D activities related to machine tools/manufacturing engineering fields at IMTEX 2017.

Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017

IMTMA will organize the second edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 10 to 13 August 2017.

The expo will address the manufacturing requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of various industry sectors in Tier II and Tier III cities of North India.

Machine Tool Design – Mechanical (8 Weeks Course)

IMTMA is conducting a course on machine tool design that will give participants an introduction to Design fundamentals. Pre-process activities like design input, conceptualization, machine specification, 3D modeling of parts, sub-assemblies and final assembly will be addressed as part of the course.

IMTS 2016

The 31st edition of IMTS - the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS 2016) was the third largest IMTS in history. The six day show recorded a footfall of 1, 15,612 registered visitors representing over a 100 countries. IMTS covered 1,370,256 net square feet of exhibit space and hosted 2407 exhibiting companies. IMTS 2018 will be held at McCormick Place from 10 - 15 September 2018.

The show created a buzz for the numerous technologies that were showcased in additive manufacturing, robotics automation and an increasing digital thread.

New Modular Holding and Clamping Technology by Spectra Tools

India International Innovation Fair (IIIF) awarded Spectra Tools a silver medal in recognition of Creativity and Innovation during the recently held IIIF event at BIEC in Bengaluru on 9 - 11 September 2016. As part of new product design: Spectra developed unique rigid Modular Holding System that has been International patent approved (PCT) and pending Indian patent and designed various special cutting tools by using this modular holding system and clamping technology that improved the performance by multiple folds.


LVD Adds New Smart Drawing Importer Modul to CADMAN @ Software Suite

LVD has added a new module to its CADMAN @ Suite of programming and shop management software. CADMAN-SDI (Smart Drawing Importer) simplifies 2D and 3D CAD file import and calculation of cost drivers so that users can quickly and accurately create job estimates.


LVD Adds New 40-Ton Electric Press Brake to Product Line

LVD has expanded its Dyna-Press Series of compact, high-speed electric press brakes with the addition of the Dyna-Press 40/15 Plus, a new 40-ton model that offers a working length of 1530mm featuring a precision four-axis back gauge and LVD's exclusive TOUCH-B touch screen CNC control.
