Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017
IMTMA will organize the second edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 10 to 13 August 2017.
The expo will address the manufacturing requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of various industry sectors in Tier II and Tier III cities of North India.

Machine Tool Design – Mechanical (8 Weeks Course)

IMTMA is conducting a course on machine tool design that will give participants an introduction to Design fundamentals. Pre-process activities like design input, conceptualization, machine specification, 3D modeling of parts, sub-assemblies and final assembly will be addressed as part of the course.
Heat Treatment Processes in Metal Working

IMTMA is organizing a 2 day programme that will focus on the fundamentals and purpose of heat treatment processes in metal working including basic heat treatment processes, advanced techniques, techniques of distortion control, etc.
ASME Training on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in Design thru Manufacturing (for GDTP-Technologist Level)
5 - 7 December 2016, Bengaluru
IMTMA is conducting a training programme that will focus on understanding the system of GD&T and the methods of applying it in real time design by using case studies, examples and exercises. The training programme will cover the philosophies of how, when, and where to apply geometrics along with common sense tips for producing quality parts.

Sheet Metal Dies - Tryout and Proving

IMTMA is organizing a 3 day training programme on the preparatory activities to be done before Die Tryout, carrying out static and dynamic checks to confirm proper assembly and working of the Die, steps in the tryout process which are critical from the Quality Perspective, etc. Different types of defects in components and methods of overcoming them, understand the different variables which contribute to defects, identify the root cause of defects, etc. will also be covered.

EuroBLECH 2016
Sheet metal working professionals from all over the world met in Hanover, Germany, from 25 - 29 October 2016 at the largest trade exhibition for this industry sector. EuroBLECH offered its audience a comprehensive overview of the prevailing trends in sheet metal working. Some 1,600 exhibitors from around 40 countries put an impressive range of machines, tools and systems live on display, across eight exhibition halls. Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association organized a group participation of 4 Indian companies.
