IMTMA received the "Country level Annual Award for Responsible Indian BMOs"(Business Membership Organizations, also called Industry Associations and Chambers of Commerce) in the "Social Category" organised by Foundation for MSME Clusters on February 8, 2018 at New Delhi.

The second initiative in the IMTMA – Green Manufacturing cell, an ‘Interactive Meeting on Green Manufacturing was held at the Kennametal India Ltd. on February 22, 2018. Senior management from companies such as ACE, BFW, UCAM, Kennametal, Wendt, Pragathi, Lextechnoid, Fanuc, Yuken, AMS and ETA participated in the meeting.

IMTMA is organizing a 2 day programme on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly on 11 - 12 April 2018 at Bangalore. This training will enable organizations to develop products reducing manufacturing and assembly costs, improving quality and speeding time to market.

IMTMA is organizing an exclusive hands on course “Finishing school in Production Engineering” at IMTMA Technology Centre, Bangalore to enhance skill sets of engineers and supervisors from manufacturing industries. This course is of 4 weeks duration and is totally practical oriented with Hands on practice in production CNC machines, CAD/CAM, Metrology equipment, Tooling and work holding systems and other accessories.

IMTMA is organizing a 3 day programme on Maintenance and Trouble Shooting of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems on 18 - 20 April 2018 at Bangalore. This programme will provide an in depth understanding of Elements of Hydraulics circuits, Preventive Maintenance Procedures and Safe Trouble Shooting Practices. Hands-on practice and exercises will be carried out using Hydraulics training kit.

IMTMA is organising 2 day programme that is expected to give participants a knowhow about the basics of PLC / VFD / Servo Technologies, overview of hardware and software features, energy saving (through VFD control), and so on.
