Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017

IMTMA will organize the second edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 10 to 13 August 2017. The expo will address the manufacturing requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of various industry sectors in Tier II and Tier III cities of North India.

Noise and Vibration Control of Industrial Machines

28 - 29 April 2017, Gurgaon

The performance of rotating machines in the plant is designated as Smooth, Vibrating and Noisy or Silent. Vibration is the beginning of failure that leads to noise, heat and subsequent seizure. To study the vibration and noise phenomenon in industrial machine in detail IMTMA is conducting a two day programme. Participants will be introduced to vibration, causes of vibration, rotor dynamics, balancing, alignment, noise measurement, etc.

Advanced Programming for CNC Machining centres

10 - 13 April 2017, Bangalore

Enhanced knowledge on CNC programming and its control features are now very critical to keep the cost per component to the minimum. Keeping this in view IMTMA is organizing a 4 day programme on Advanced Programming for CNC Machining centres on 18 - 21 April 2017 at Bangalore. The programme will primarily focus on optimization of programming for various Machining Centre operations

Productive Utilization of CNC Grinding Machines

25 - 26 April 2017, Bangalore

IMTMA is organizing a two day programme on Productive Utilization of CNC Grinding Machine. The objective of this seminar is to ensure that participants are exposed through discussions with experts to various tools & skill sets for optimizing the grinding process. The programme will mainly focus on enhancing productivity in grinding process.

Machine Tool Design – Mechanical

3 April - 27 May 2017, Bangalore

IMTMA is conducting an 8 weeks course which is structured on design fundamentals, more focused on machine tool design. A complete design of CNC Turning center will be carried out from concept to finish.

Pre-process activities like design input, conceptualization, machine specification, 3D modeling of parts, sub-assemblies and final assembly using popular design CAD tools and preparing the final manufacturing drawings in par with industry standards, etc. will also be covered in the course.

FINISHING SCHOOL IN PRODUCTION ENGINEERING: Enhancing Productivity in Machining

24 April - 20 May 2017, Bangalore

IMTMA is organizing an exclusive hands on course to enhance skill sets of engineers and supervisors from manufacturing industries. This course is of 4 weeks duration and is totally practical oriented with Hands on practice in production CNC machines, CAD/CAM, Metrology equipment, Tooling and work holding systems and other accessories.

2nd Symposium on Smart Manufacturing

Attended by more than 250 delegates from around 110 companies, the second edition of the Symposium on Smart Manufacturing focused on “Evolving the Factory of the Future”. The two day symposium held on 24 and 25 February 2017 featured technical presentations, case studies, interactive sessions and panel discussions with industry experts. ‘Automation Buzz’, a concurrent exhibition displaying automation devices and systems, software and a host of automation solutions was held concurrently.

Houghton International Earns Pratt & Whitney Approval For Advance Metal Working Fluid

The future expansion in machining industry of India lies in Defense and Aero Space Industry and as per Mr. Santosh Chakraborty – MD Houghton India , Houghton is well equipped to support these Industries and he shared that Houghton International has received approval from Pratt & Whitney, a United Technology Company, for use of HOCUT 4940 Metalworking Fluid in the production of its aircraft engine and military power units under the Pratt & Whitney reference PMC 9151.

HOCUT 4940 is advance metal working fluid enabling Aerospace companies to achieve a step- change in productivity while satisfying stringent environment requirement. HOCUT 4940 meets TSCA, REACH, DSL, METI and PRTR, enabling a single product to be supplied locally to global operations. HOCUT 4940 is free of boron, formaldehyde, releasing agents, secondary amines, chlorine, phenols, nitrites and heavy metals. Customers are especially happy with its low foaming properties combined with its low usage rate.
