7th International Seminar on Machining Technologies
With a view to highlight the evolving trends in the machining technologies, IMTMA is organizing the seventh "International Seminar on Machining Technologies" on 25 January 2017, in conjunction with IMTEX 2017 exhibition, in Bangalore.
IMTEX 2017 & Tooltech 2017
IMTEX 2017 at BIEC from 26 January to 1 February 2017 will be held in 6 halls for the first time covering a gross area of 66,000 sq.mts. A new hall of 17,500 sq.mts. will be inaugurated during the exhibition. IMTEX 2017 will see over 1000 exhibitors from 22 countries including group participation from China, Germany, Spain, Italy, USA, Taiwan and Czech Republic. IMTMA and EEPC India will jointly organize this meet during IMTEX 2017. This will be an opportunity to connect with importers of machine tools.
i2 Academia Pavilion @ IMTEX 2017
i2 Academia Pavilion at IMTEX 2017 will have participation from around 40 institutions including IITs from all over India.
These institutions will get an opportunity to present their innovative research projects on metal working industry through display of posters and take part in award winning competitions.
2nd Symposium on Smart Manufacturing
To understand and address the real-time application and benefits of Smart Manufacturing, IMTMA is organizing the 2nd edition of 'Symposium on Smart Manufacturing - Automation, a key driver', on 24-25 February 2017 in Bangalore.
This symposium is a combination of technical presentations, case studies, interactive sessions, and panel discussions with industry experts and 'AUTOMATION BUZZ' - a display of automation systems, equipment, software and a host of automation solutions.
Delhi Machine Tool Expo 2017
IMTMA will organize the second edition of the Delhi Machine Tool Expo at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 10 to 13 August 2017.
The expo will address the manufacturing requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of various industry sectors in Tier II and Tier III cities of North India.

IDR Approach to trouble shoot Component Defects in a Press Shop
9 - 10 February 2017, Bengaluru
IDR approach is a three leap scientific approach to trouble shooting of component defects in press shop. Component defects need to be identified, diagnosed and resolved. Keeping this in view IMTMA is organizing a 2 day programme on the care to be taken by Press shops when accepting Dies for production.

Machine Tool Design - Electrical (4 Weeks Course)

IMTMA is organizing a course which is structured for electrical & electronics engineers on design aspects of CNC Machine tools. A complete design of CNC machine will be carried out. Electrical circuit design, control panel design, introduction to PLC programing & ladder diagram, selection of electrical switch gears will be prominently discussed.

Machine Tool Design - RAPID (6 Weeks Course)

IMTMA is conducting a course on the design fundamentals of machine tools. A complete design of CNC Turning center will be carried out from concept to finish.

Machine Tool Indonesia 2017
The 30th edition of Machine Tool Indonesia organized by the Pamerindo Indonesia Trade Event and All world Exhibitions was held at Jakarta International Expo in Jakarta from 30 November to 3 December 2016. Over 2000 exhibitors from 36 countries including China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and United Kingdom, etc. The show witnessed around 20,000 visitors over a span of 4 days. IMTMA participated in this exhibition to gain more insights into global best practices.

FIBRO India Enhances Production Capacity with new Citizen CNC Turning Machine
FIBRO India has enhanced its production capacity by adding a new Citizen CNC turning machine as well as Twin Spindle induction hardening machine. FIBRO has started producing ‘Spring Plunger’ at FIBRO India. The first few thousand spring plungers were delivered to the company’s plant in Germany as well as the domestic market.

ETA's Four Square Test Rig for Component series-parallel testing
Test rigs are machines for testing the performance of manufactured machine components. The components can be tested under various loading, speed and ambient conditions. Accelerated tests can be done for millions of cycles of operations or till failure, as required.

ETA Experimental Modal Analyses Kit
ETA technology has developed an experimental modal analyses kit. The modal analyses is practiced for machine tool chatter, automobile and ship, etc.
Modal analyses find shapes and frequencies at which structure will amplify the effect of load and is a major tool in the design of safe optimal structures.

Galaxy – Tajmac Joint Venture
Galaxy has entered into joint venture with leading European sliding head Lathe manufacturer Tajmac-ZPS, Czech Republic. Galaxy machinery incorporated in 1991 is a manufacturer of multi-tasking, multi-axes CNC turn mills and CNC integrated mill turns. Tajmac established in 1944 is a manufacturer of Lathes and supply machines that are used on military vehicles.
